Objective: The expression of Bcl-2, P53 and PCNA protein were examined in breast neoplasm. The effect and significance of Bcl-2, P53 and PCNA protein of the development in breast neoplasm were investigated. Methods: The expression of Bcl-2, P53 and PCNA were examined by S-P immuno-histochemical method in breast neoplasm. Results: 1. The positive expression ratio of Bel-2 was 81.4% in breast cancer, 93.3.% in precancerous lesions and 66.7% in hreast benign neoplasm. The difference was statistically significant in the three group P<0.05. The expression of Bcl-2 protein was significantly related with lymphonode metastasis and histological grading of beast cancer P<0.01, but the expression of Bcl-2 protein was not related with size of tumors; 2. The positive expression atio of P53 protein was 46.5% in hreast cancer,23.2% in precancerous lesions and 0% in breast benign neoplasm; ,but the expression of p53 protein was not related with lymphonode metastasis, histological ,grading and size of tumors;3. The positive expression ratio of PCNA was 74.4% in breast cancer, 70.0% in precancerous lesions and 70.0% in breast benign neoplasm. The expression of PCNA was significantly related with histological grading of brast cancer P<0.01, but the expression of PCNA was not related with lymphonode metastasis and size of tumors;4. The result showed in 43 cases breast cancers that 0 case was negative, 3 cases were positive for the masculine. 12 cases were positive for Bcl-2 only, 7 cases were positive for PCNA only and 20 cases were positive for both Bcl-2 and PCNA. In 30 cases hreast precancerous lesions, 1 case was negative, 7 cases were positive for the masculine, 6 cases were positive for Bcl-2 only, 1 case was positive for PCNA only and 12 cases were positive for Bcl-2 and PCNA.Conclusion: 1.The excessive expression of Bcl-2 , P53 and PCNA protein may play an important action in the malignant transformation of breast tissue;2.The results suggest that Bcl-2 and P53 were involved in tumorigenesis and development of breast carcinoma with different biological effects.
