The asymmetrical of information take consumers in the passive position, it's easy to take some unreasonable medical phenomenon like abuses and misuses when consumer take medicine, and it will hurt people's health and life security, especially on the prescription drugs. So the government have to take strict regulation on prescription drugs.This article started with the government regulation theory, summarized the study achievement of government regulation, modeled the experience of the developed country, used the method of literature study and investigation study and compared study, and made further government regulation study on prescription drugs. With the method of literature study and investigation study found the main questions on the prescription drugs are irregular management on medicine store and prescription and equipment of pharmacists is not enough, and the deep reason is: law on prescription drugs in imperfect, law enforcement dynamics is not enough, the reform measure is not allocated, etc. I think as the regulated department of government, we can take the some measures to strengthen the regulation on prescription drugs and reach the aim of rose the level of drug's usage and safeguarded people's health and life safety. The measures including: completing the law of prescription drug, adding the law enforcement dynamics, implementing the system of separation between medical and medicine, speeding up the construction of manage personnel, strengthening the propaganda and making the society's supervision system.
