Review Of The Developments Of Anal Fissure

Anal fissure is one of the most common anal diseases, it's incidence just after hemorrhoids, as the second. In the past years, anal fissure has drawn increasing attention and interest of scholars,so that great progress has been made in this field. At present, the pathogensey of anal fissure and the physiology of internal anal sphincter have been explained more clear than before. Following the development of the concepts in anal fissure, significant advances in treatment was made. In this paper we general summarized the study and knowledge of anal fissure on both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine (WD), including pathology, mechanism, conservative treatment and surgical treatment of anal fissure. Simple analysis and preview of problems in clinical researches of anal fissure were made.
