An Animal Experiment On Cancer Cells Microinvasiving Into The Branches Of Portal Vein In The Hepatocarcinogenesis

Establishing a sprague dawley(SD)rat hepatoma model with3'- me-DAB (600 mg/kg) , observing the pathological changes around the terminal branches of portal vein in the hepatocarcinogenesis with IHC method,recording the biological performances'characteristics and specific period of time of liver cancer cells microinvasiving into the branches of portal veins,recorded the number of the portal vein tumor thrombus to get the incidentce.Found: In the SDrat hepatoma model induced by 3'- me-DAB , portal vein tumor thrombus can generate at the early stage of the liver cancer under microscope,there is a close relationship between liver stem cells-oval cells and liver portal vein tumor thrombus, the formation of portal vein tumor thrombus may be the consequence of the abnormalities in generation and differentiation of liver stem cells,but we do not obtain the direct experimental evidence which can support our hypothesis that the portal vein tumor thrombus originates from the liver stem cells.
