Ultraviolet spectroscopy with partial least square was applied to establish calibration models for determination of Rifampcin in Pyrazinamide Tablets. A calibration model have been developed by partial least square with Ultraviolet spectroscopy for determination of Rifampcin Tablets. This model have been applied to determine validations and Rifampcin Tablets. In these models, the regression coefficient (R) in Pyrazinamide determination was 0.99606, the root mean square error of cross-calibration (RMSECV) was 0.239. The samples of validation set were predicted by these models. The root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) in Pyrazinamide determination was 0.106. This result demonstrates that the method has high precision of prediction. The average recoveries of Pyrazinamide were 100.01% respectively. With the advantages of facility, rapid, non-destruction, no pollution, on-line detection and good reappearance, the method must be popularized in situ measurement and in the on-line quality control for Rifampcin Tablets productions.
