Y chromosome microdeletions are associated with severe male factor infertility. In 1976 Tiepolo and Zuffardi analysis chromosome karyotype for 1170 male patients with idiopathic aoospermia. discovered grossly apparent deletions of the long arm of the Y chromosome in 6 of azoospermic men. They postulated the presence of a region on proximal Yq involved in spermatogenesis and termed it the azoospermia factor (AZF). At present,we discover that Unoverlapped 4 regions are associated with gonepoiesis-AZFa,AZFb,AZFc和AZFd.There are several candidate gene in Every region. There is a growing concern over screening and analysising the Y chromosome AZF microdeletions. This text explain the frequency of Y chromosome microdeletions ,the relationship between genetype and phaeno type , the relationship between Y chromosome microdeletions and several reproduction disease relativily. The objective of this study was to study and research the relationship between Y chromosome microdeletions and idiopathic azoospermia or severe oligozoospermia, Y chromosome microdeletions and several reproduction disease relativily. There are 101 idiopathic azoospermia or severe oligozoos permia patients in this text. Analyzing the relationship between it and Y chromosome microdeletions, Y chromosome microdeletions and several reproduction disease relativily like chromatosome caryotype abnormality, varicocele, serum reproductive hormones abnormality. 20 breeded men are control group. Screening Y chromosome gene using PCR.The results presented that in 101 patients, idiopathic azoospermia are 81 cases, among this 11 cases are Y chromosome microdeletions(16.8%);severe oligozoospermia are 20 cases, among this 6 cases are Y chromosome microdeletions(30%).All miss rate 16.8%. 20 breeded men are not Y chromosome microdeletions. Dividing in Y chromosome microdeletions region, Among the 17 Y chromosome microdeletions cases ,The AZFa region is not exist.3 cases are AZFb region deletion(s17.6%);17 cases are AZFc region deletions(100%);7 cases are AZFd region deletion(s41.2%);17 cases AZFc region deletion are idiopathic azoospermia or severe oligozoospermia;7 cases AZFd region deletion。 Among all the cases ,4 are chromatosome caryotype abnormality(azoospermia).1 cases is kelinfilter's syndrome;3 cases are chromatosome dystopia among this 1 is not deletion, the other are deletion. Among all the cases ,44 cases are varicocele,in these 8 cases are Y chromosome microdeletions 18.2%; 57 cases are not varicocele,in these 9 cases are Y chromosome microdeletions, the rate is 15.8%. There are not significant difference. Among the 17 Y chromosome microdeletions patients,16 cases are serum reproductive hormones abnormality. 3 cases are high FSH(all the 3 cases are low T),8 cases are low T,6 cases are high E2.There are not significant difference between the Y chromosome microdeletions and nonY chromosome microdeletions about the serum reproductive hormones. In the word, Y chromosome microdeletions is the important reason of male sterility, particularily idiopathic azoospermia and severe oligozoospermia. The pathogenesis is complex, the phaeno type and test facility diversify.Because the phaenotype is facility, idiopathic azoospermia, severe oligozoospermia and idiosterility patients need detect Y chromosome microdeletions. In addition, before doing ART also need detect. The relationship between Y chromosome microdeletions and several reproduction disease relativily like chromatosome caryotype abnormality, varicocele, serum reproductive hormones abnormality need farther study.
