| Objective: To investigate the relationship between the level of serum uric acid(SUA)and essential hypertension(EH).Methods: 1.Clinical material: 1.1Common material: EH patients:In February,2007—January,2008 period received my coutyard heart internal medicine department in hospital 256 essential hypertension patients,including the male 161 cases and the female 95 cases,the mean age(64.8±15.4)years old(39~83 years old),all tallied in 1979 the WHO announcement essential hypertension diagnosis standard.According to the stage standard of《Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Treatment Guidebook in 1999》,the 256 hypertension patients were divided into 3 groups:The 1 degree hypertension group 98 cases, including the male 59 cases and the female 39 cases,the mean age(63.7±14.8)years old(39~80 years old); The 2 degree hypertension group 105 cases,including the male 68 cases and the female 37 cases,the mean age(64.9±15.2)years old(39~82 years old);And the 3 degree hypertension group 53 cases,including the male 34 cases and the female 19 cases,the mean age (65.8±14.9)years old(41~83 years old).The control group: Extracted randomly 100 healthy persons in the same period, including the male 64 cases and the female 36 cases,the mean age(64.6±14.7)years old(40~81 years old). 1.2Selected standard: Hypertension patients:In the condition of not taking anti- hypertension drugs,the persons whose systolice pressures≥140mmHg and/or diastolic pressures≥90mmHg. The 1 degree hypertension group: Whose systolice pressures were 140~159mmHg or diastolic pressures were 90~99mmHg; The 2 degree hypertension group: Whose systolice pressures were 160~179mmHg or diastolic pressures were 100~109mmHg; The 3 degree hypertension group: The persons whose systolice pressures≥180mmHg or diastolic pressures≥110mmHg.If the systolice pressure and diastolic pressure belong to different degrees,we chose the higher degree as the standard. 1.3Elimination standard:(1)Eliminated the persons who suffered from gout;(2) Eliminated the persons who had taken uric acid-lowering drugs and diuretics 5 days before blood drowing;(3)The persons who had taken too much purine or liquor at long time were eliminated;(4) Eliminated diabetes mellitus,hyperlipidemia and much fatter persons;(5)Secondary hypertension patients coused by factors of renal disease,kinds of endocrine disease,cardiovascular lesions and brain lesions were eliminated. 2.Research content: Received my coutyard heart internal medicine department in hospital 256 essential hypertension patients as the hypertension group,extracted randomly 100 healthy persons in the same period as the control group, compared by the hypertension risk factors of sex,age,IBM,TC,TG,FBG between the hypertension group and the control group, the serum uric acid level and the morbidity of hyperuricemia (HUA) between the two groups were compared in the mean time. According to the stage standard of《Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Treatment Guidebook in 1999》,the 256 hypertension patients were divided into 3 groups: the 1 degree hypertension group (98 cases) , the 2 degree hypertension group (105 cases) and the 3 degree hypertension group (53 cases). the serum uric acid level was compared between the 3 groups. 3.Statistical method:Statistics analysis of all data using SPSS 12.0 software package.The measurement material used the mean value±standard deviation(±s)expression,the comparison between different groups used variance analysis,the comparison within the group used paired t test;The counting materials usedχ2 examination. P < 0.05 presses that the difference has the significance.Results: (1)There was no significantly difference between the hypertension group and the control group at the hypertension risk factors of sex,age,IBM,TC,TG,FBG et al.( P>0. 05).(2)The serum uric acid level in the hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the morbidity of HUA in the hypertension group was also significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01). (3)The SUA level in the 2 degree hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the 1 degree hypertension group (P<0.01), the SUA level in the 3 degree hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the 2 degree hypertension group (P<0.01), the SUA level in the 1 degree hypertension group was higher than the control group significantly (P<0.01).Conclusion: (1) The serum uric acid level in the hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the morbidity of HUA in the hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the control group,both of the differences had the significance,yet there was no significantly difference between the hypertension group and the control group at the other hypertension risk factors of sex,age,IBM,TC,TG,FBG et al. basic serum uric acid level might act as an independent forecasting factor of the incidence of essential hypertension. (2) The difference of serum uric acid level between all secondary groups in the hypertension group has the significance, the serum uric acid concentration was related to the degree of hypertension, the level of serum uric acid would be higher when the degree of blood pressure went to higher. (3)The serum uric acid level might play an certain role in the occurrence , development and prognosis of essential hypertension. The monitoring of the serum uric acid should be kept in mind at the same time in clinical hypertension treatment, carrying on integrated treatment positivly to lower serum uric acid and other risk factors. |
