Objective To study the expression and interrelationship and significance of MI DKINE,CD34 expressions in chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and cervical cancer. and to explore their roles in the pathogenesis of cervical cancer by analyzing the relationship with the clinicalpathological features. Methods A total of 51 cases of cervical cancer tissues, 40 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ,and 10 cases of chronic cervicitis tissues were examined for the expression of MIDKINE and CD34.These proteins were detected by immunohistochemistry chemical method and analysed with statistical mothod .Results 1.The results of immunohistochemical stain disclosed the major localizations of MK were in the cellular membrane and(or) the cytoplasm of malignant cells and the color was buffy While the results of immunohistochemical stain disclosed the major localizations of CD34 were in the cytoplasm of the vascular endothelial cell and the color was yellow or buffy vascellum density is count by Weidner method . The expression of CD34 marked with microvessel density (MVD) The positive rates of MK was expressed in chronic cervicitis,CINI,CINII,CINIII and cervical cancer were 0,10.00% , 20.00%,25.00%and 56.86%; The microvessel density (MVD)of CD34 expression in chronic cervicitis,CINI,CINII,CINIII and cervical cancer were 9.34±5.26, 10.23±5.21, 11.08±5.34,12.05±5.42,24.15±5.45.2.There were no significant differences of MK and MVD between chronic cervicitis and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (P >0.05).3.There were significant differences of MK and MVD expressing between the chronic cervicitis and cervical cancer ( P <0.01). 4. The different expressions of MK and MVD in CIN and cervical cancer had statistical significance.5.In cervical cancer tissues, the expressions of MK and MVD were both positively associated with clinical- pathological parameters: clinical stage, and lymphatic metastasis(P <0.05); but were no relation with age , histological classification (P >0.05).6.Positive correlation between the expression of MK and MVD was observed in cervical cancer(P <0.05).Conclusions 1.The expressions of MK tended to increase along with pathogenetic condition progression, suggested that MK possibly played an important role in the genesis of cervical cancer.2. The expressions of MVD tended to increase along with pathogenetic condition progression, suggested that the growth and extension of tumorous rely tumor micrangium forming.3. The expressions of MK and MVD had significant relation ,in addition the expression of CD34 was positive correlation with MVD, which suggested MK may play an important role in the development, invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer together .MK may be an important induce factor which produce cervical cancer.4. The expressions of MK and MVD had significant relation with clinical stage, tumor size and lymphatic metastasis.5. MK may be an important referenced index of predicting biological behavior and a valuable target of the treatment of cervical cancer.6 The detection of MK combination with CD34 may help the diagnosis of early gastric cancer.
