The Research Of Antibody Against Muscle-specific Tyrosine Kinase In Myasthenia Gravis Among Chinese

Objective: To measure the level of the antibody against muscle-specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK) in seronegative myasthenia gravis (SNMG) among Chinese.Methods: Using immunoprecipitation method, We measured the level of the serum acetylcholine receptor antibody (AChRAb) in myasthenia gravis (MG). After we had screened out 42 SNMG serum, We detected the level of the serum MuSKAb in SNMG by immunoprecipitation method again.Results: The results showed the level of AchRAb in MG was significantly higher than that in control's (P<0.01),the positive rate was 81.9%. Only one MuSK antibody was detected in 42 SNMG patient sera.Conclusions: Low frequency of MuSK antibody in SNMG among Chinese. The pathogenesy of SNMG in Chinese is differs from that of SNMG in foreigners.The possible cause of this difference includes the race of people,the immune states of body ,etc.
