Prevention And Management Of Complications Of Retained Cavity Of Postoperative Hydatidosis

Objetive To investigate the common surgical complications in hepatic cystiec echinococcosis(HCE) and explore the causes of the surgical complications in hepatic cystiec echinococcosis(HCE) and the treatments. We can make progress in surgical cure and avoid complications. To cure complications in time and effectively can release the patients from pain to cure diseases and make them better in life . Methods 183 patients with the surgical complications in hepatic cystiec echinococcosis(HCE) from Jan 2002 to Jan 2008 in our hospital were studied. The clinical data were rewiewed retrospectively. Results The major complications were recidivism of normal position in 134( 73.22 %),54 cases t treat with excisionofinternalcapsule and drainage ,51cured and 3 relapsed,67 cases cases treat with total cysteetomy and all cured .10 cases treat with subtotal cysteetomy and all cured, 3 cases treat with hepalobectomy and all cured. infection in retained cavity in 21cases(11.48 %), retained cavity with biliary tract (bile duct) fistula in 7 cases (3.83 %),liquid in retained cavity in 4 case(2.19 %), calcification retained cavity was not close in 3cases(1.64%),retained external hydatid cavity2- gastrointestinal tract fistula in 1 cases (0.55 %),obstruction of biliary tract with Suppurative cholangitis 8 in cases (4.37 %), bile duct stricture after operation in 5 cases (2.73 %) , Most party of 183 patients with the surgical complications in hepatic cystiec echinococcosis(HCE) were diagnosed and treated timely and correctly to cure or progress.Conclusion the classic internal cystectomy are still the most useful surgieal method for HCE,but the morbidity of the surgical complications in rectal cancer is relatively high. The complications affect the patents in life quality and threaten them because of many sorts and complicated causes. Proficiency in mastering the possible surgical complications can avoid complications and treat hepatic cystiec echinococcosis (HCE) effectively to release the patients from pain as possible as we can and make them live better.
