Analysis Of Contamination And Disinfection Of Endoscopes In Hospitals Of Urumqi

Objective:To study the present status about contamination and disinfection of Endoscopes in hospitals of Urumqi.To investegate if the cleaning and disinfection methods and procedure of Endoscopesare fitting with The Technical Opreration Standard for Endoscopes Cleaning and Disinfection(2004),the contamination status of Endoscopes that have been used and disinfection efficacy,to screen elect the factors that affect the disinfection of Gastroscopy,and find the problems that existance in Endoscopes cleaning and disinfection management.Methods:According to The Technical Opreration Standard for Endoscopes Cleaning and Disinfection(2004),to carry out the survery and sampling of disinfected Endoscopes.To study the installment in checking room and disinfecting room in hospitals and the cleaning and disinfection methods and procedure of Endoscopes,the difference about cleaning and disinfection time of Endoscopes.To study the contamination of operated Endoscopes and disinfection efficacy,and analyze the time and drawn the conclusion.Results:Through the investigation,the fitting rate of the environment that of checking room and disinfecting room of Endoscopes is 48.31%;The fitting rate of cleaning and disinfection procedure is 58.43%;The cleaning and disinfection time not always sufficient,the fitting rate of cleaning and disinfection time is 55.06%;In different Endoscopes the contamination of gastrocopy and entercopy were very serious,among the samples,we confind the Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Helicobacter pylori,Staphyloccocus aureus Rosenbach,HBsAg.The eligible rate of disinfected endoscopes using is 73.66%,the positive rate of HP and p.aeruginosa in which from Gastrocopes are 4.30%and 1.08%;The resules of multivariate Logistic regression via SPSS 11.0 shows the risk factors that of the disinfection effect of Gastroscope were disinfectant contan(OR=3.04 95%CI:1.12—8.27) and the times be used per day(OR=3.00 95%CI.1.13—7.95).Conclusion:The disinfection of Endoscopes in hospitals of Urumqi still exist a lot of problems;The environment and installment in check room and disinfect room should be improved,Technical Opreration Standard for Endoscopes Cleaning and Disinfection shoule be normalized; Glutaraldehyde should be regular biological and concentration monitoring and timely alteration,only in these way,could the disinfection of endoscope be qualified.The disinfection of gastrocopy and entercopy should be strengthen,so the eligible rate of gastrocopy and entercopy disinfected would be improved.It should be strengthen our management on the disingectant contant and the times be used per day.
