Objective: To analyze the rate of complications and influencing factors of radical hysterectomy plus pelvic lymphadenectomy in cervical cancer patients. Methods: From January 2003 to 2007 July treated 482 cases of early and mid cervical cancer surgery major complications were retrospectively analyzed in Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang.The stages were: 6 stageâ… a; 131 stageâ…¡a; 142 stageâ…¡a and 203 stageâ…¡b. Results: A total of 181 patients (37.6%) developed postoperative complications. The major complications included: bladder dysfunction (15.6%); wound infection (9.8%); formation of lymphocysts (9.5%). Multivariate Analysis showed complications have the relation of clinical stage and age. Under a history of abdominal surgery, there are medical compli- cations and preoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy and surgical complications of no significant correlation. Conclusion: bladder dysfunction, wound infection, formation of lymphocysts were the major complications; Clinical stage and age are the main factors of surgical complications.
