Objective: The aim of the study was to assess the clinical effect of Shen Mai Injection(SMI) and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae Powd Injection(RSMPI) on ALI patients with deficiency of Qi and stagnation of blood, as well as the effect of examination fig, x-ray chest film, breathing machine paramet and the prognosis in the near future.Method:40 patients conforming to the condition were randomly assigned to the treating group or to the control group. The treating group was treated with SMI 40mland RSMPI 0. 8g intervenous drop infusion once daily, combined with rout western medicine, including anti-infection, countershock and mechanical ventilation etc. And the control group was treated only with rout western medicine, including anti-infection, countershock and mechanical ventilation etc. The course was ten days. The clinical symptoms and sign, examination fig, x-ray chest film, breathing machine paramet, length of stay in ICU and ultimum turnover of two groups were observed and compared.Result:1. The total effective rate of the therapeutic group and the control group were 80% and 60% respectively, The clinical symptoms and sign of the treating group have significant difference (p<0. 05) after ten-day comparing with the pre-treatment which showed the management of the treating group could improve the clinical symptoms and sign of ALI patients. Compared with the pre-treatment, the control group have significant difference (p<0. 05) in some symptoms and signs, such as breathlessness, cyanosis, breathing rate, wet rale. It showed that the therapy of control group also could improve some of the clinical symptoms and sign of ALT patients. The clinical symptoms and sign of the treating group have significant difference (p<0.05)after ten-day comparing with the control group except for wet rale.2. Laboratory examination : Both the pre-treatment and the control group have significant difference (p<0. 05) in some laboratory examination, such as blood gas analysis partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2), index of oxygenation(PaO2/FiO2), positive end expiration pressure (PEEP), compliance of respiration system (Crs) , tumour necrosis factor (TNF-α) , interleukin-6(IL—6) . It showed that the therapy of control group also could improve some of the laboratory examination of ALT patients. But compared with the control group, the pre-treatment have significant difference (p<0.05)in most of directions after ten-day comparing with the control group except for the score of x-ray chest film. The therapy of pre-treatment group was better than control group.3. After identical time of therapyr, compared with the control group, the pre-treatment group have significant difference (p < 0.05)in time of mechanical ventilation, length of stay in ICU and death rate. Conclusion :1.The results indicate that the treatment of SMI and RSMPI combined with rout western medicine can improve clinical symptoms and sign, blood gas analysis , breathing machine paramet, and decrease the time of mechanical ventilation, length of stay in ICU and death rate.2.The SMI and RSMPI can decrease the TNF-α,IL—6 level of blood serum. TNF-αand IL—6 are important in evoking the dropout liberation of proinflammatory cytokine and mediators of inflammation. Therefore, we can conclude that SMI and RSMPI may relieve the evol of ALL...
