Studies On Chemical Constituents In Trollius Chinensis Bunge

Trollius Chinensis Bunge,which is a traditional chinese herb,mainly distributed in the northern regions of China. Its flowers, commonly named"Jin Lian Hua", possess anti-microbial and antiviral actions and have been used for a long time as a well-known medicinal plant to treat colds,high fevers, chronic tonsillitis, and acute tympanitis.To explore the medical effect compositions, we study the whole herb systematically. In our experiments, the material has been immersed in 70%EtOH. The concentrated extract was treated by centrifugal machine. Solution was treated by AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin, eluted by, 70% EtOH, 95% EtOH separately.compoundⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,ⅣandⅤhave got from the solution of water though re-silica gel CC, Sephadex LH-20 CC, Preparative HPLC.Ⅵ,Ⅶ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅹ,ⅪandⅫhave achieved from the solution of 70% EtOH though re-silica gel CC, Sephadex LH-20 CC. On the basis of spectroscopic value and comparison with the authentic literatures,their structures were identified as follows: orientin(Ⅰ),vitexin (Ⅱ) ,2 -O-β-L-galactopyranosyl orientin (Ⅲ), 6"'-HMG-2"-O-β-L-galactopyranosyl vitexin (Ⅳ) , 6"'-HMG-2"-O-β-L- galactopyranosyl vitexin (Ⅴ) , 2"-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl orientin (Ⅵ) , 2"-O-(2"'-methylbutyryl)isoswertisin (Ⅶ) , Trollioside (Ⅷ) , 7-methoxyl-2"-O-(3"',4"-dimethoxybenzoyl)vitexin(Ⅸ) ,4-(β-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyl) benzoic acid (Ⅹ) ,7-methoxyl-2"-O-(2"'-methylbutyryl)vitexin(Ⅺ),7-methoxyl-2"-O-(2"'-methylbutyryl) orientin(Ⅻ). Among them, compoundsⅣa ndⅤa re new compounds,Ⅵ,Ⅸa ndⅩare obtained from Trollius Chinensis Bunge for the first time.
