Objectives:1.to establish a stable carotid stenosis in rabbit model.2.to improve the stablity and comparability of dectecting the blood flow velocity in caritid stenosis in rabbit model.3.to prove the rationality and validity of stenosis index in carotid stenosis in rabbit modelMethods:1.Use suture bind the carotid arteries with plastic tubes in different calibers,and then extract the plastic tubes to estabish the carotid stenosis model in various degrees.2.detect the carotid internal diameter with colour ultrasound and the blood flow velocity with TCD before/after establishing the models; evaluate the carotid stenosis with DSA after establishing the models.Results:1.six degrees of carotid stenosis in rabbit models had been established quickly and successfully.2.the corelation coefficient was greater in twice at different time than both sides that the blood flow velocity was detected in carotid stenosis in rabbit models,and the two rusults of blood flow velocity in scatter plot were linear correlation. blood flow velocity and vascular diameter in stegnotic location had a deminished trend in 1 week after establishing models.3.in the analysis of stenosis index from TCD and stenosis ratio from DSA,cube equation curve was the best in all curves, R2 =0.718, p<0.001, cube equation: stenosis ratio=1.2687-8.8732STI+20.018STI2-12.2443STI3Conclutions:1.For that it was quick to establish a model ,the stenosis was stable,these models were more ideal to evaluate the the hemodynamics in the carotid stenosis.2.to improve the stablity and comparability,it was recommended that TCD was detected first and then DSA.3.the general and narrow formulas of STI were also proved rational and validy, and the validity might be better in a given extent of stenosis degree.
