Objective:Using ultrasound strain rate imaging ( SRI) to evaluate left ventricular diastolic function of abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin (GHb) type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2).Method:The early diastolic peak SR (SRe)and the advanced diastolic peak SR (SRa) at middle of six walls of left ventricular (after interval, side wall, anterior, under wall, before interval, posterior)were performed by SRI in abnomal GHb (> 6.07%) DM2 (DM2 group,n=40) and normal GHb (4.17~6.0 7%) healthy adult subjects (NOR group,n=37) at four-chamber view,two-chamber view, apical long axis view, and calculate SRe/SRa.At the same time, using tissue dopper imaging to observe the early diastolic velocity (Em) and the advanced diastolic velocity (Am) at mitral central myocardial, and using pulse doppler imaging to measure the most diastolic blood flow velocity (E) early and the most diastolic blood flow velocity (A) advanced at mitral, and calculated Em/Am, E/A.Results:With the normal group, Sre,SRe/Sra,Em/Am and E/A in DM2 group had reduced significantly, and there was significant. SRa and A made higher slightly,Em,Am and E made lower slightly, all these parameters were not statistically significant.40 cases of abnormal GHb DM2, GHb and SRe was correlated negatively, and was correlated positively with the Sra;If SRe/SRa<1, Em/Am<1 and E/A <1 were considered parameters as diastolic dysfunction, with the normal group, DM2 group was statistical significance. Conclusion:Ultrasound technology,in particular SRI ,is able to better evaluate left ventricular diastolic function of abnormal GHb DM2. |
