| Taking aim at the high incidence and high danger of adiposity, chitosan has been studied to cure adiposity and its relative illness these years, but the further application has been limited a lot duing to chitosan can't solving inwater and the effect of losing weight isn't obvious. In this paper, two kind ofnovelchitosan deri-vatives Cis-9-octadence acetylated chitosan(O-C9OAC) and (2-hydroxyl-3-dimethyl long chain ammonium) propyl chitosan (C16QC and C18QC) were prepared throughintroducing oleic acid and N,N-dimethyloctadecyla quaternary ammonium salt grou-p onto the dissociate amido or hydroxyl group of chitosan respectively. FTIR, 13CNMR, XPS and DSC were employed to characterize the materials. Solubility exp-eriment showed that O-C9OAC can solve in DMSO and swell in DMF and DMAC, while C16QC and C18QC have a good solubility in deionized water.The adsorption of O-C9OAC in the edible oil and blood fatwere tested. Mo-reover, the adsorption to blood fat, lipin and bile acid of C16QC and C18QC werealso studied. Result showed that O-C9OAC can selectively absorb unsaturated fattyacids and lipid in edible oil. The absorption to LDL of O-C9OAC is up to 63.7%comparing to 4% of chitosan, at the same time, the effect to HD-L is small. For C16QC and C18QC, higher adsorption to bile acid were observed, C16QC and C18-QC exhibit good adsorption to bothLDL and HDL, which showed they have poor selectivity. |
