| The research of the World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that 10% of married couples are suffering from infertility and 50% of which was caused by infertilitas of man. According to WHO, among the 85 million married couples who are suffering fron infertility in the world there are 12.5 million in china, and about 5%-8% suffers in developed country, this percent can be high to 30% in developing country. Research in abroad indicates that the quality of the male sperm is decreasing obviously in different years, so is in china. Among the obstinate causes of cure this disease, idiopathic oligospermatism is the most hard to solve, and its' incidence is on the rising.The treatment of modern medicine to the infertility is not conspicuous, even if find out the reason which causes the infertility , just as antibody of the spermatozoa,unnormal of endocrine hormone, the curative effect is also unsatisfactory, and not to say idiopathic oligospermatism, the only way they can do is surgery and technological aided- reproduction,but the cure rate is only about 20%, and the cost is very expensive, so it can be used widespread. In the all, The treatment of modern medicine to the infertility is not satisfied to the doctor and the patient.In the long time of clinical experience, Professor Chen DeNing discovered that although the patients of idiopathic oligospermatism are caused by the kidney, but the young people' were by the life habit and the iatrogenic factor, which induced the disharmony between the spleen and the stomach. So Professor Chen adding some drug to regulate their spleen function when invigorated the kidney at the same time, which get good effect. So it is very important to add some drug to regulate the spleen function when we invigorate the kidney to treat the patients. It offer a new way to cure the patients of idiopathic oligospermatism. Objective:To Study of the Effect of the method of invigorating the spleen and kidney on Sperm Quality in Patients and Rats with oligospermatism.Method:Patients 120 outpatients suffering oligospermia were recruited from out-patient department of andrology of Shenzhen Hospital of TCM and divided them into trial group and control group at random, 60 cases in each group. To trial group: to observe the change of the quality of the sperm in 3 months after took the Jiaweijujing Decoction. To control group: to observe the change of the quality of the sperm in in 3 months after took the Wuziyanzong tablets. Then compare the change between two groups.Rat 10 rats were selected randomly 50 rats as the normal group, and the other 40 rats were made into oligospermia models, 10 of them wererandomly killed to know the models' situation. the rest 30 were randomlyallocated 3 groups:the blank control group,the Wuzi group and the Yubiao group, 10 for each of them. 26 days later, killed them off to know the epididymis,testis,liver and kidney' s situation.Result:Patient The difference of quantity of sperm, density of sperm, pH , liquefying degree, viscidity between trial and control group before treatment has no statistic meaning. Meanwhile the density of sperm of the two groups has improved obviously after therapy and shows statistic meaning by comparing those before therapy (p<0. 05). But the trial group has improved more obviously than control group and the difference (p<0. 05) shows statistic meaning. The quantity of sperm,pH,liquefying degree and viscidity have no obvious changes before and after treatment and have no statistic meaning.Rats The difference of density of sperm in the Yubiao group , the Wuzi group compared to the blank control group respectively, it has improved obviously after therapy and shows statistic meaning (p<0.05). But the Yubiao group has improved more obviously than Wuzi group and the difference shows statistic meaning(p<0. 05). The a stage of the sperm and the total motility rate of sperm have no obvious changes among the three group (P>0.05) .The Yubiao group compared respectively to the Wuzi group and the blank control group, the difference of density of sperm in the contorted seminiferous tubules and the damage of tissue framework had improved obviously and shows statistic meaning (p<0.05). But the Wuzi group had not improved more obviously than the blank control group and the difference between the two groups has no statistic meaning (p>0. 05).Made the rats' liver and kidney into pathological section after put them to death. Observation every group' change with their liver and kidney under 400 times' light microscope. We discover that the blank control group's central veins of hepatic lobules have stagnated blood around, small vacuole and fatty liver, and find the protein cast in the nephric tubule. But the other three groups which take the drugs find nothing special, there is nothing differently with the normal group. It show that the GTW can harm the rats' liver and kidney, both the invigorate the spleen and kidney method and invigorate the kidney method have some effect to recovery the harm of the rats' liver and kidney.Conclusions:1. Invigorate the kidney is the basic way to cure oligospermatism, both the method of invigorating the spleen and kidney and of invigorating the kidney only can improve the pregnancy rate and sperm quality (sperm density and vitality), but the forward one has better effect.2. Both the method of invigorating the spleen and kidney and of invigorating the kidney only have correct curative effects on oligospermatia rat models which were made by GTW. but the forward one hasbetter effect. |
