The Expression Of Vascular Endotheliar Growth Factor And Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor In The Serum Of Vascular Malformation Before And After The Treatment Of Pingyangmycin

OBJECTIVES By quantitative analyzing the expression of vascular endotheliar growth factor(VEGF)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in the introtumor serum of vascular malformation(VM) before and after the pingyanmycin(PYM)local treatment:(1)To find a convenient index to assess the effect of PYM treatment;(2)To investigate the molecular mechanisms of PYM to VM.METHODS The amounts of VEGF and bFGF in the introtumor serum of cavernous VM before,2 weeks after and 4 weeks after the PYM treatment were measured by Enzyme-Linked-Immuno-Sorbent-Assay (ELISA).RESULTS(1)No significant difference was found on the expression of VEGF and bFGF in the introtumor serum of VM between different sex groups.(2)bFGF in the introtumor serum of VM before, 2 weeks after and 4 weeks after the PYM treament.CONCLUSIONS Quantitative analysis of the expression of VEGF and bFGF in the introtumor serum of VM before,2 weeks after and 4 weeks after the PYM local treatment can not reflect the effect of PYM treatment.The mechanisms of PYM to VM needs to be further investigated.
