| Objective To explore the correlation between the level of High sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP) and glycated hemoglobinA1c(HbA1c) in adult with acute coronary syndrome(ACS), to assess the relationship among Hs-CRP, HbA1c and the severity of coronary artery stenosis. Methods Coronary artery angiography(CAG) was done for all the subjects by Judkins'method,81 ACS patients were performed. Including 67 men and 14 women, from 35 to 89 years old, with a mean age of (62.90±10.53) years. Among the ACS patients ,30 of them suffered from diabetes. The control group consisted of 32 subjects without CHD, from 48 to 80 years old, with a mean age of (66.19±8.50) years. including 6 diabetes. According to the severity of coronary artery stenosis,81 ACS patients divided into three groups: single-artery lesions,double-artery lesions and multi-artery lesions;According to the type of ACS,81 patients divided into unstable angina pectoris(UA) and acute myocardial infarction(AMI).The serum content of Hs-CRP was measured by enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay(ITM).HbA1c was measured by liquid chromatography(LC) method. Results 1.The concentration of Hs-CRP in patients with ACS was much higher than that in the control group(7.83±5.96mg/Lvs1.57±3.18mg/L, P<0.01),but the level of HbA1c rised without statistic difference between ACS patients and the control group (6.51±1.47% vs6.28±1.16%,P>0.05). 2.Compared with the control group, the concentration of Hs-CRP in single-artery lesions group 4.57±4.77mg/L,double- arterylesions group 8.83±6.22mg/L and multi-artery lesions group 9.46±5.65mg/L,are significantly higher(P<0.01).Compare with single-artery lesions group, the level of Hs-CRP are rise in double-artery lesions'(P<0.05) and multi-artery lesions'(P<0.01).There are not difference in statistics of the HbA1c concentration in control group6.28%±1.16%,single-artery lesions group 6.28%±1.53%,double-artery lesions 6.55%±1.42% and multi-artery lesions group 6.81%±1.45%. 3.The concentration of Hs-CRP is higher in UA group 4.94±5.11mg/L and AMI group 11.82±4.63 mg/L than the control group 1.57±3.18 mg/L(P<0.01);The HbA1c concentration is still no statistic different among three groups 6.28%±1.16%,6.57%±1.44%, 6.43%±1.52%. 4.In the upper and lower level group of HbA1c,the stenosis branches rised with statistic difference(P <0.05). 5.Hs-CRP level has no correlation with HbA1c's level. Conclusions In acute coronary syndrome patients, the concentration of Hs-CRP rised and positively correlated with the unstable states of atherosclerotic plaque, but HbA1c had no correlation with unstable coronary atherosclerotic plaque,it may be contact with multi-vessel stenosis. Hs-CRP level did not correlated with HbA1c's. HbA1c reflect chronic pathological process of atherosclerotic, but Hs-CRP can be use as a factor for the unstable states of atherosclerotic plaque. |
