Both inner and outer circumstances of the hospital have greatly changed in new century, and the effectiveness of human resource management will affect the competitive power of the hospital. Post management, performance management and compensation management form the core of human resource management. The speciality of hospital business decides that there are plenty of fuzzy problems in hospital post and performance management. Meanwhile, the combination of fuzzy math and modern management theory has provides new solution to the problems. However, little research has been done on its application to the hospital.Under this background, this paper probes into the application of fuzzy post and performance management to the hospital, and the main contents are as follows:Firstly, the paper expatiates on the characteristics of the hospital, sets forth the ordinary process of hospital post and performance management, points out the speciality of hospital post and performance management, as well as the universality of its fuzzy problems, and analyzes the origin of the fuzzy problems.Secondly, the paper researches on fuzzy post management in the hospital, states the necessity of its adoption, puts forward an idea of seeking the most appropriate candidate for the post with fuzzy neural network, discusses how to establish the guide line system for job evaluation, and ranks different posts in the hospital with fuzzy comprehensive appraisal.Thirdly, the paper researches on fuzzy performance management in the hospital, introduces the conception of fuzzy performance, gives its fuzzy sets expression and membership function, suggests applying two-stage approach to the performance appraisal of certain posts, and discusses how to rank the staff's performance in different situations.Lastly, application research is performed. The paper applies the fuzzy methods to the practice of hospital post and performance management.
