The Small Study Of The Correlations Between Diabetes-Related Chronic Compliations And Constitution Factors Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:Through the research on patient's constitution factors of Chinese Traditional Medicine of type 2 diabetes-related chronic compliations(DCC),it comes to realize the distributing rules on DCC and to probe into the relation between each kind of micro-vescular compliations and constitution factors,in order to offer the gist of constitution theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for diabetes patients to prevent compliations early.Method:Applying to constitution theory of TCM and the method of clinical investigation,we investigated to 58 diabetes patients(of which 47 patients accord with the condition of DCC) which had been made definite diagnosis according to disease history,lab back-checks and assistant checks and so on in Jinan and Rushan,and analyzed the investigation result by statistics.Result:The frequence of constitution factors of total 47 chronic diabetes compliations ranked from greater to smaller in turn are qi-asthenia constitution(59.6%),damp-heat constitution(51.1%),yang-asthenia constitution(44.7%), yin-deficiency constitution(36.2%),phlegm-damp constitution(34%),energy-stagnant constitution(31.9%),static-blood constitution(25.5%),normal constitution(10.6%),special natural disposition(4.3%).Patients who hold two or more constitution factors account for72.3%.Every kind of constitution factors of the 47 patients have no marked difference on sex and age.Around 1/3 forepare DCC have energy-stagnant constitution.Patients who have yin-deficiency constitution or qi-asthenia constitution but no DPN have marked difference to patients who have the same constitution factor and have DPN.Thereinto P of yin-deficiency constitution＜0.001.The statistics about DN and DR have either no marked difference.Conclusion:1.On patients of 2 type DCC,except normal constitution and special nature constitution,other 7 kinds of constitution factors are all commom.Patients who hold two or more constitution factors account for the greater part.Among them,qi-asthenia constitution and damp-heat constitution are two frequent constitution factors in patients who have forepart DCC,which implies that there perhaps are two opposite sides on the constitution background of the patients of 2 type DCC.2.The constitution factors of DCC patients have no marked relativity with age or sex.3.Around 1/3 forepare DCC are in the state of dumps.4.DPN patients have less chance to hold yin-deficiency constitution and qi-asthenia compared with patients without DPN.We can't find any special relation between each kind of micro-vescular compliations and constitution factors.
