The Effects Of Yishenyin On Antifertility Activity Of Rats With MsPGN Treated By Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum

Objective: To observe the effects of Yishenyin on antifertility activity of rats with MsPGN treated by Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum. Methods: 50 normal Wistar rats (50days's age) were randomly divided into normal group, model group, Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum group, Yishenyin group and common group. The rats in last four groups were established rat models of mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis respectively. From 5 weeks, Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum, Yishenyin and combined Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum and Yishenyin were given to the rats in the last three groups respectively. While rats in normal group and model group were given normal water of same quantity as a control. 24 hour urine protein excretion was observed before the experiment and 12 weeks. Varies of indexes were observed in 12 weeks when all the rats were executed, including testosterone (T), progesterone (P), estradiol (E2). Kidney, testicle, ovary and uterus pathological changes were compared in different groups. Meanwhile nitric oxide synthase(NOS) expression in testicle, ovary was detected by using immunohistochemistry. Result: To compareded with the model group, Yishenyin can decrease all kinds of symptoms of MsPGN; to compareded with the Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum group, Yishenyin can antagonize the toxicity of Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum in genital system and ascend the expressions of NOS in testicle and ovary. Conclusion: Yishenyin can antagonize impairment of genital system when treating MsPGN with Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum by ascending the expressions of NOS in testicle and ovary.
