The Relationship Between TSC2 Protein And Pathologic Features In Patient With Lung Cancer

Objective To detect the expression of TSC2(tuberin) protein in lung cancer and to discuss the relationship between TSC2 protein and pathologic features of lung cancer.Material 60 cases of tissues of gastric cancer and 60 cases of normal tissues were collected,in accordance withβ-actin,and the expression of TSC2 protein were detected by Western-Blot.Electrophoresis strap density was quantitatively analysised by Strap Density Analysis software.Results The positivity rate of the tuberin expression in lung cancer tissue was 40%and compared with corresponding normal lung tissue,the expression value in lung cancer was low(p＜0.05).Expression value and positivity rate of TSC2 protein has nothing to do with gender,age,size of tumor,differentiation,malignancy and lymph node metastasis(p＞0.05) and pathology type.Conclusion TSC2 protein may play an important role in the pathogenesis of lung cancer.To detect the expression of hamartin and to discuss the clinical meaning were very important in lung cancer.
