| OBJECTIVE To detect the expression of hamartin in normal gastric tissue, gastric cancer celland tissue, and to discuss the clinical meaning.METHODS 1.Cell Culture: After culturing gastric cancer cell SGC-7901 in vitro, we extract cell protein.2.60 cases of tissues of gastric adenocarcinoma and normal tissues were collected respectively, and the tissue proteins were extracted. The expression of hamartin was detected in normal gastric tissue, gastric cancer cell and tissue with western-blot. The positivity rate of the expression of gastric cancer tissue was calculated and analysed. The differences were discussed to known the clinical meaning of pathologic stage and prognosis of gastric cancer.RESULTS The expression of hamartin was detected in gastric cancer cell and normal gastric tissue. The positivity rate of the expression in gastric cancer tissue was 48% and compared with corresponding normal gastric tissue, the expression value was low (p<0.05).The higher of T stage, the lower of hamartin expression (p<0.05). So did the lymph node metastasis (p<0.05).The lower of differentiation, the lower of hamartin expression (p<0.05).The expression value had no statistical significance in age, gender, tumor size, general type, and anatomic location(p>0.05). The higher of T stage, the lower positive rate of hamartin(x~2=8.01,p<0.05). The lower of differentiation, the lower positive rate of hamartin (x~2=4.73,p<0.05).CONCLUSION Hamartin was closely related with gastric cancer.To detect the expression of hamartin and to discuss the clinical meaning were very important in gastric cancer. |
