Objective:By observing the change of NOS,BP and NP in the plasma of asphyctic newborn infant,we try to check the relativity between the three indicators and existence of neonatal asphyxia as well as its degree of severity so as to investigate whether NOS,BP and NP partake in the process of pathological and physiological process of asphyxia.Method:Take 30 cases of asphyctic newborn infants as a case group,of which,15 cases are mild asphyxia,15 cases are heavy asphyxia;take another 30 cases of normal vaginal-delivery babies in same period as control group.Collect 8ml plasma from umbilical arterial blood after furnicle cut, anticoagulating with sodium citrate, determine NOS by solid-phase sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method, determine BP and NP by high-pressure liquid chromatography(HPLC),at the same time, observe the changes of a variety of clinical indicators.Result:In the control group(n=30) plasma,NOS,BP,NP indicate 0.85±1.39 (umol/L),2.21±1.07(μg/L),6.93±3.46(μg/L)respectively;in the mild asphyxia group(n=15) plasma,NOS,BP,NP,indicate 3.56±4.34(umol/L), 2.52±1.28(μg/L),12.64±6.29(μg/L)respectively;in the heavy asphyxia group(n=15) plasma,NOS,BP,NP,indicate 22.88±18.9(umol/L),4.22±1.74(μg/L),31.53±17.86(μg/L)respectively.With reference to each of three kinds of indicators, the values of heavy asphyxia group are higher than the mild asphyxia group and the control group, the differences show high significant(P<0.01);the differences have no significance between mild asphyxia group and the normal control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Changes of NOS,BP,NP levels in the neonatal umbilical arterial blood indicate NOS,BP,NP take part in the process of pathological and physiological process of asphyxia.
