Background and Objective:Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)has been proved that can provid analgesia and sedation in many kinds of operations.Bispectral index (BIS)is the used to evaluate the sedative depth in anesthesia. Therefore,we useBIS to evaluate the sedative effects of TEAS during induced abortions. We use the BIS T0 evaluate the sedative effects of TEAS in patients undergoing induced abortion. Methods:Ninety gravidas ASAâ… â€”â…¡aged 20-40 years old were randomly divided into there groups.Group A:TEAS group, stimulate the Neiguan and Taicong acupoints with 2/100 HZ electric stimulation for 15 mins.Group B:Local anesthesia group, with 1%lidocaine 5 ml in cervix.Group C:TEAS 15 min and local anesthesia in cervix.During the anesthesia and operations,we used MINDRAY BeneView T5 to continuously monitor bispectral index(BIS),mean arterial blood pressure (MAP),heart rate(HR),respiratory rates(RR),oxygen saturation of pulse (Sp02),BIS,visual analgesia score(VAS).Analysis was performed using statistical analysis system software SPSS 11.0.All the guantitative data of the two group were compared with one-way analysis of variance,P<0.05 was considered to represent statistical significance.Results:1 The average sex, weitht,ASA physical statas among the three groups(P>0.05) showed no significant differences.2 After TEAS 15 mins, the BIS were declined in group A and C(P<0.05)and showed no significant difference between the two groups.3 MAP and HR raised in all the three groups(P<0.05)and return to the basic after 30 mins postoperations. There were no significant changes in RR and Sp02.4 There were no significant difference in VAS among group B,C and A (P>0.05).But the occurrence of side-effects in group B was higher than group A and C(P<0.05).Conclusion:1 TEAS can provide partial sedative amd analgesia effects during induced abortions, and alleviate the occurrence of side-effects,but the more effective intergration of acupoints and stimulus intensity needs the further studies.2 Though TEAS can decline the BIS,the TEAS combined with local anesthesia in cervix can not provide the more sedative effects.3 TEAS can decline the VAS just like the local anesthesia in cervix, but the combined of them can not provide the the more effect of agalgesia. |
