Objective: 1 In accordance with posterior circulation ischemia in clinical manifestations, the relationship of the ischemic vascular lesions and responsibility of vascular, with a view of the posterior circulation ischemic disease clinical subtype classification. 2 To identify certain relevance between characteristic clinical symptoms and prognosis, summarizing the law of the prognosis of posterior circulation ischemia. Methods: During a certain period the patients who were consistent with the standard were incomed into the research group. All cases were consistent with posterior circulation ischemia Chinese expert consensus in diagnostic criteria and imaging(MRI,CT) as the basis for qualitative and positioning. Compliance study in support of Eleventh Five-Year National scientific and technological support projects: Chinese acute cerebrovascular time registration study(Registry of Acute Cerebrovascular Events China referred to as RACE) Clinical research methods, through the continuous collection of cases, a detailed record of patients with clinical manifestations, and involvement of vascular lesion sites, 90 days after onset prognosis (mRS score), organize the data to calculate the existence of 58 cases of cases corresponding to the incidence of vascular involvement, use the the chi-square test statistics to that NIHSS score, early awareness of the obstacles, and dizziness in three poor prognosis were analyzed. Results: A total of 58 cases of this group,in accordance with the lesion, NIHSS and mRS score posterior circulation ischemia was divided into with unfavourable prognosis and favourable prognosis type, the former was divided into top of the basilar artery syndrome and bases artery occlusion model. The latter was divided into the pontine lacunar infarction, wallenberg syndrome, cerebellar infarction, occipital lobe infarction and Cross-regional multi-infarct. Corresponds to the regional vascular lesion itself after the cycle was still a major cause of ischemia (66%). The Higher NIHSS score (>25)and the disturbance of consciousness occurred in the incidence of early prompted a unfavourable prognosis(p<0.005), and dizziness had no correlation with favourable prognosis(p >0.5).Conclusions: 1 The posterior circulation ischemia disease risk factors and ischemic stroke are in the same general. 2 Vascular involvement of the corresponding region of posterior circulation ischemia is an important cause of disease. The higher NIHSS score (>25) or early onset of consciousness are indications poor prognosis, and dizziness symptoms and prognosis have non-related to each other.
