| Purpose:The purpose of this study was to assess the change of CT Cerebral Perfusion' s parameter and the prognosis of clinical symptom in symptomatic patients with cerebral patent artery stenosis before and after stent placement.Materials and Methods:Ten patients with unilateral cerebral patent artery stenosis(≥65%) underwent brain CT perfusion and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) assessement 48 hours before and after the stent placement.Cerebral blood volume(CBV)cerebral blood flow(CBF) and time to peak(TTP) values were measured. Results:the change of CT Cerebral Perfusion's parameter and the prognosis of clinical symptom were observed in the middle cerebral artery areas supplied by the stenotic artery after stent placement:A significant decreased rTTP was observed in 9 patients,1 patient unchanged(p=0.01<0.05).rCBV and rCBF increased in 5 patients,rCBV and rCBF decreased in other 4 patients,Decreased rCBV and increased rCBF were observed in 1 patient.Decreased NIHSS were observed in 7 patient(P=0.004<0.05).The Pearson correlation between the CTP and the prognosis of clinical symptom is r=-.062,p=0.864>0.05.Conclusion:Perfusion CT is a useful technique for the assessment of the cerebral perfusion in symptomatic patients with cerebral patent artery stenosis before and after stent placement.Pearson correlation between the CTP and the prognosis of clinical symptom is uncertain.. |
