A Study Of Integrated Traditional And Western Medicine Treatment Towards 50 Cases Of Calcaneus Intra-articular Fracture

ObjectiveStudy the effects of integrated traditional and western medicine treatment towards Intra-articular fracture of calcaneus.Method50 cases of Intra-articular fracture of calcaneus were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups,the therapeutic group treated with CSC(Chinese herb & surgery & Chinese herb) treatment,and the control group treated with percutaneous reduction by leverage and internal fixation with Kirschner wire. The observation include postoperative complications,the period of knitting,x-ray changes of Bohler's degree and Gissane's degree,and maryland foot score,and used SPSS11.5 for statistical analysis.Results:All of the cases were attain knitting in 6 to 12 months.There was no significant difference(P>0.05) between therapeutic group and control group in the period of knitting and postoperative complications and the B(o|¨)hler's degree.And the reduction of Gissane's degree of therapeutic group was obviously better than the control group treated with percutaneous reduction by leverage and internal fixation with Kirschner wire.According to differences of the maryland foot score,the total effective rate in 2 groups was 82.143%& 54.545%,the effect of the therapeutic group treated with CSCwas obviously better than the control group.It means that CSCtherapy was batter in the clinical effects and the functional recovery of foot.Conclusion:CSCtherapy for Intra-articular fracture of calcaneus can improve the clinical effects,shorten the length of stay,decrease complication, improve the functional recovery of foot.
