Clinical Study On Effect Of Asthma V For Treatment Of The Acute Stage Of The Asthma

Objective:The study intended to investigate the effect of the chinese medicine theory "treating lung and nose disease at the same time" in treating the acute stage of the asthma by using asthma V comparison the effect with minor decoction of green dragon.The aim of this study was to summarize the relationship between the theory of "syndrome resulting from retention of phlegm" and chronic rhinosinusitis.Method:Asthma borderline cases were collected from ShenZhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine emergency room and respiratory intemal medicine ward and a part of outpatient,eighty cases were divided into two groups according to with or without chronic rhinosinusitis,each group was respectively forty cases.Then every group was screened and randomly divided into routine therapeutic group and control group.With the conventional treatments on the acute stage of asthma,therapeutic groups were treated orally with asthma V,while control groups were treated orally with minor decoction of green dragon.We made clinical observation for three days.Result:Four groups of the gender,age,course of diseases,pathogenetic condition level were nearly no difference.By statistics,they had comparability(P＞0.05).The total evaluation on the basis of symptom,objective sign,the lungs function displayed:The total effective rate of asthma V groups was 82.9%,It's obviously higher than the control groups which has the total effective rate of 51.3%,The efficacy among the two groups showed significant diference(P＜0.05)。Conclusion:According to the above results of clinical observation of treating the acute stage of the asthma,we can draw the following conclusions: (1)The therapeutic groups total efficiency is obviously higher than control group by using asthma V.Traditional Chinese medicine asthma V is superior to minor decoction of green dragon in treating the asthma.(2) The therapeutic effect is positive in treatment on the asthma by treating lung and nose disease at the same time.Treating lung and nose disease at the same time not only lightens the asthma patient's symptoms but also dispersing obstruction of nasal cavity,protecting upper airway,reducing the recrudescence and aggravation of the asthma.
