In this study, Kunming female mice selected, clean grade, weighing 18~22 g, divided into 4 groups 10. Including three ethephon dose (68 mg/kg·bw, 134 mg/kg·bw, 268 mg/kg·bw) and a control group, exposed for 28 d. The main study results are as follows:1. Examine of cytology and immunity pathologySerum of the infected mice in the total number of leukocytes and lymphocytes are lower than the percentage of the control group, and dose-response relationship exists. The medium and high dose group in the total number of leukocytes compared with the control group decreased by 3.42% and 6.67%; the high-dose group of lymphocytes compared with the control group decreased by 4.55%.The relative quality of the immune organs of the infected mice are lower than the control group, and dose-response relationship exists. High-dose group in which the relative quality of the thymus compared with the control group decreased by 18.91%, middle and high dose group the relative quality of the spleen compared with the control group decreased by 22.79% and 23.17%.2. Determination of cellular immune functionSelect spleen lymphocyte transformation test and delayed hypersensitivity test to observe cellular immune function of mice affected. The results showed that the infected groups exposed to the degree of foot swelling and spleen lymphocyte transformation rate are lower than the control group, and dose-response relationship exists, in which low-dose group the degree of swelling of the foot compared with the control group decreased by 2.78 %, middle and high-dose group the degree of swelling of the foot compared with the control group decreased by 12.41% and 18.99%. Middle-and high-dose group spleen lymphocyte transformation rate compared with the control group decreased by 7.25% and 13.77%.3. Determination of humoral immunity functionSelect spleen plaque hemolytic test and half of the value of indicators to observe the ethephon on mouse humoral immune function. The results showed that HC50 value and PFC values of the infected groups are lower than the control group, and dose-response relationship exists. Among them, the low, middle and high dose group and the PFC of the numerical value of HC50 compared with the control group were decreased by 8.94%, 9.89%, 13.31% and 35.31%, 56.05%, 64.97%.4. Determination of monocyte - macrophage functionSelect carbon clearance test in mice, as observed, results showed that infected groups exposed to the phagocytic index k are lower than the control group, and dose-response relationship exists. Among them, the middle dose group of the k value compared with the control group fell 8.04%, high-dose group of k values compared with the control group dropped 10.11%.The ethephon is benefited to the small rat huge bite a cell devor functional effect5. Determination of host resistanceSelect Listeria monocytogenes resistance test, the results showed that the death rates of infected groups are higher than those of mice, and dose - response relationship. One low-dose compared with the control group increased by 15%, in dose compared with the control group increased by 30%, high-dose compared with the control group increased by 35%.6. Effect of ethephon on SOD, GSH-Px, MDA content in serumThe SOD and GSH-Px activity of infected groups are lower than the control group, MDA levels are higher, and the dose-response relationship exists. Dose group in which the SOD, GSH-Px content compared with the control group decreased by 8.91% and 4.18%, MDA content increased by 12.08%, high-dose group of SOD, GSH-Px content compared with the control group dropped 12.44% and 8.54%, MDA content increased by 28.44%.Conclusion: Ethephon at 134~268 mg/kg·bw dose damnify immunization organ of mice; Ethephon at 268 mg/kg·bw dose damnify the leukocytes and lymphocytes; Ethephon at 134~268 mg/kg·bw dose damnify the cellular immune function in the body; Ethephon at 68~268 mg/kg·bw dose damnify humoral immune function; Ethephon at 134~268 mg/kg·bw lower the conditions of host resistance to Listeria monocytogenes. Ethephon at 134~268 mg/kg·bw dose damnify non-specific immune function; The aboves are dose-response relationship. Effects of ethephon on the inhibition of immune function in mice, may be in the body of mice caused by oxidative hyperirritability, and to be further studied.
