Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of Tasmanian Bluegum leaf's decoction on the residual burn wounds. Methods:Totally 68 moderate burn patients were selected from department of burn and plastic surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital Guangxi Medical University and divided randomly into Tasmanian Bluegum leaf's decoction treatment group(consisting of 35 patients)and general skin disinfectant control group(consisting of 33 patients),the wound surface healing circumstance was observed and the wound healing and the bacterium count were detected.Results:①The wound healing surface appearance of the treatment group was improved obviously than that of control group.②Compared with the control group, the healing rate of treatment group was obviously higher(ρ<0.01),meanwhile,the healing time of the control group was shortened by 3.5 days.③The bacterium count of treatment group was obviously lower than that of the control group, and the difference between them exists statistical significance(ρ<0.01). Conclusion:1.Tasmanian Bluegum leaf's decoction could take effectively control over the infection of the common and drug-resistance bacteria on burn wounds;2.Tasmanian Bluegum leaf's decoction could shorten the healing time of residual burn wound.
