Risk behaviors of adolescents is for the healthy development of young people, point to young people are the future, these risk behaviors are different from the Socially-acceptable behavior of The Young and it does directly or indirectly endanger the development of young people and may cause various negative personal or social consequences. Cognitive style is the inertia way of information processing process. In order to examine the effects of cognitive style on the risk behaviors of college students, so to make interventions for the risk behaviors, first, this study completed the preparation for a good reliability and validity of students'cognitive style, as well as revised the risk behavior survey questionnaire. On this basis, we take a random sampling method, randomly selected 310 college students from Chongqing University and Southwest University two schools, and conducted a before and after experimental questionnaire survey comparison methods studies use materials of intervention, our major findings are as follows:(1)The cognitive style of college students are significant different in gender, major and in different academic scores.Study show's that boys'cognitive style scores are lower than the girls', liberal arts students'scores are higher than students in science and engineering, the former one-third is lower than the last one third. The results also shows that their autonomy dimension is significant different in their parents'level of education, as well as whether he/she is the only one child in their family.(2)Risk behaviors are prevalent in college students, and their behaviors changed acording to their age, gender.The results show that in addition to the unreasonable weight loss and lack of physical exercise, the average score in colleagers'accidental injuries, violence, suicide, smoking, drinking and sex behaviors of boys are higher than girls; The unreasonable weight loss, irrational diet, lack of physical exercise and the suicide risk behaviors, the score of liberal arts students are higher than students in science and engineering; In addition the study found that there is significant difference in unreasonable weight loses between different professioners and significant difference among academic scores in violence, smoking, alcohol addiction and internet addiction.(3)Field-dependence cognitive style individuals are more vulnerable to the impact of the external environment, change their behavior, and show a significant differences with field-independence ones in risk behaviors scores, risk behaviors average scores, unreasonable weight loss and irrational diet.This study conducted experimental and questionnaire survey methods, explore the impact of cognitive style on risk behavior, and enrich the development of the cognitive style and risk behavior research. At the same time, we must point out that there is many kinds of factors influencing behaviors, and how to effectively control the unrelated variables during the course the study, as well as formulating appropriate intervention measures need to be further studied.
