| ã€Objective】The research aims to compare the differences between entropy and bispectral indexes on monitoring the depth of anaesthesia for the elderly patients during the target-controlled infusion (TCI) of propofol general anesthesia.ã€Methods】Fourty ASA I-II elderly patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery were studied. Anaesthesia was induced with epidural anesthesia combined with the target-controlled infusion (TCI) of propofol general anesthesia. Applying Ladder-type target-controlled infusion of propofol-induced which with continuous epidural administration of bupivacaine, propofol and fentanyl infusion. Intermittent injection of vecuronium will take according to neuromuscular monitoring, and the feedback loop will start according to RE,SE and BIS index respectively to adjust the dosage of propofol. Recording HR,MAP,BIS,RE,SE at different time, also the emergence time and extubation time after discontinuation, total operating time, total dose of propofol, and occurrence of the perioperative awareness.ã€Results】When applying Ladder-type target-controlled infusion of propofol-induced, BIS and RE, SE will be affected, and the correlation coefficients which BIS, RE and SE will be increased or decreased by Target-controlled concentration are 0.899 and 0.869, 0.902. Concerning blood pressure, heart rate and other life-levy, they are stable and without statistically significance. BIS and SE values maintained at 60 during surgery; after discontinuation, BIS and RE, SE values restored lightly with increased awareness, all the variation values are without statistically significance. Extubation time, awakening time and total dosage of propofol are also stable and without statistically significance. None Intraoperative known occurred during operation.ã€Conclusions】In elderly patients with upper abdominal surgery in the implementation of epidural composite propofol target-controlled infusion when general anesthesia, BIS and RE, SE may reflect the depth of anesthesia, and the two were no significant differences (P> 0.05), that is, at the depth of anesthesia monitoring, entropy index and bispectral index as are both effective. |
