Objective:In order to understand the prevalence, distribution, risk factors of hypertension, and epidemiological investigation was conducted among the residents in Hangzhou city.METHODS:In this study,Adopted the methods of stratified cluster sampling, choose the representative two streets in city and two towns in countryside from Hangzhou city.7200 people above 15 years old were extracted,finally,6978 effective questionnaires were obtained;valid respondent rate was 96.9%.The data was input in Epidata3.1 software, and SPSS 15.0 software was used to carry out Descriptive statistic,Chi-square test,Logistic regression and log-linear model analysis was implemented through SPSS 15.0 and the tendency Chi-square test was implemented through SAS9.0 software.Main Results(1) General features of prevalence of hypertension The prevalence rate of hypertension in Hangzhou was 21.0%(95%CI:20.2%~21.9%),and the hypertension prevalence rate advanced along with the age gradually increases, from 45 years old the prevalence rate rise scope to be obvious. In or above 75 years old,the prevalence of hypertension approached 50%.Before 15 to 65 years old,the prevalence rate of man was 19.1%, while the female was 15.5%,and there was statistical difference between them(X~2=5.62,p< 0.05).However,above 65 year old,the hypertension prevalence rate of male is 40.3%,the female is 47.3%,the feminine prevalence rate is higher than the male with statistical difference(x~2=6.18, p<0.05).(2) The influential factors of hypertensionThe main influential factors were district, age, the family history of hypertension,BMI and WHR based on logistic regression. The results of multiple factors analysis indicated that the prevalence of hypertension in rural was 1.34 times than in urban. The probability of hypertension would increase about 1.07 times when the age rise per one old among the people whose age was over 15 old.About the prevalence of hypertension, the family history of hypertension was about 1.92 times than without the family history and the fat human based WHR was about 1.71 times than general people. When BMI was 25~29,the prevalence of hypertension was about 1.82 times than lower 25.When BMI was over 30,then the prevalence of hypertension was about 3.77 times than lower 25.We analyzed the influential factors including district, age, the family history of hypertension,BMI and WHR based on log-linear model. The results indicated that there was interaction among these factors and different level of factors.Conclusions(1) The prevalence rate of hypertension in Hangzhou was 21.0%,and the hypertension prevalence rate advanced along with the age gradually increases, from 45 years old the prevalence rate rise scope to be obvious.(2) The main risk factors of hypertension in Hangzhou People were somatotype, the family history and age.(3) Logistic regression was used to study influential factors for disease and Log-linear model was used to study the interaction of factors.
