| Objective To study and analyze the corneal astigmatism and the changes of surgically induced astigmatiam after phacoemulsification with introcular lens(IOL) implantation. Methods 40 patients with 50 eyes were treated with phacoemulsification through a 3mm clear comeal incision, and examined by auto-ref-keratometer preoperatively at one day,one week, one month after operation.Result After the surgery, the visual acuity was>0.5 in 27(54%) eyes at 1 day,in 30(60%) eyes at 1 week, and in 32(64%) eyes at 1 month. The corneal astgmatism was (1.14±0.61 )D,(0.98±0.49)D,(0.93±0.41)D at postoperative 1 day,1 week,1 month respectively, which was not significant compared with the corneal astgmatism before the surgery(P>0.05).But there was significance between the posteroperative 1 week/1 month and 1 day.And there was very significance corneal astgmatism decrease lweek and 1 month after surgery in whose pre-operation corneal astgmatism>1.00D.Conclusins The corneal astgmatism did not change after 3ram clear corneal incision phacoemulsification with introcular lens(IOL) implantation, but it is possible to correct some part of corneal astigmatism existed pre-operation(>1.00D). |
