| Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safity of moxifloxacin -based PPI triple-drug regimen for helicobacter pylori eradication..Methods:The initial treatment patients were enrolled whose gastroscopy showed gastroduodenal ulcer, meanwhile the rapid urea tests(RUT) were positive. This patients were randomly assigned to a 7-days therapy:group A(moxifloxacin-based triple therapy, esomeprazole 20mg bid+moxifloxacin 500mg qd+amoxicillin 1000mg bid)and group B,(standard triple therapy, esomeprazole 20mg bid+ clarithromycin 500mg bid+amoxicillin 1000mg bid).Successful eradication was defined as a negative 14C-urea breath test 4 wk after completion of treatment.Results:29 patients completed the study, one patient lost follow-up(3.33%),23 patients showed negative 14C-urea breath test results. There are 15 patients were enrolled in group A,one patient lost follow-up,12 patients showed negative 14C-urea breath test results. There are also 15 patients were enrolled in group B,one didn't complete the therapy,11 patients showed negative 14C-urea breath test results. After completion of therapy.Hp was eradicated in 80%of group A VS 73.3%of group B for ITT,and 85.7%of group A VS 78.6%of group B for PP.Conclusion:Our results suggest that group A seems capable of achieving a slight improvement in eradicating H pylori, although not in a statistically significant way, futher studies are needed to investigate the efficacy of group A. |
