Study On Acupuncture Security Of Fengfu (DU16)

Objective:To study on needling depths and angles of Fengfu with MRI, so as to provide references for safe needling depths and angles in clinical acupuncture and preventing from the accident.Methods:To select 20 healthy volunteers in the Heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine,according to the body mass index we bring into research object,among them males are 11 people,females are 9 people.We use the three-dimensional image of MRI to observe and measure the needling depths and angles of Fengfu.On the sagittal,we measure the depths from the acupuncture point to the cerebral dura mate on the perpendicular needling,and measure the needling depths and angles from the posterior edge of foramen magnum,the superior border of posterior atlantal arch,the inferior border of posterior atlantat arch and the superior border of spinous process of axis to the dura;on the axial view,we measure the needling depths and angles to the bilateral dura.According to the formula, safe depth≤danger average depths×75%.All the data by measured were input.into the computer.We use SPSS 16.0 statistical soft to analyze.Results:1.The results on the sagittal:Different acupuncture direction, the needling angles for men and women make no difference(p＞0.05),there were significant difference(p＜0.05) of the needling depths for males and females;The dangerous depth of perpendicular needling of the male is 49.45±6.52mm,the safe depth is 37.09±4.89mm,the dangerous depth of perpendicular needling of the female is 42.22±6.74mm,the safe depth is 31.67±5.06mm;The angle which is from the acupuncture point to the posterior edge of foramen magnum with the horizontal position is 7.05±3.71°,the dangerous depth from the acupuncture point to the posterior edge of foramen magnum of the male is 46.27±8.22mm and the female is 36.11±5.71mm.the safe depth of the male is 34.70±6.11mm and the female is 27.08±4.28mm;The angle which is from the acupuncture point to the superior border of posterior atlantal arch with the horizontal position is 3.65±2.16°,the dangerous depth from the acupuncture point to the superior border of posterior atlantal arch of the male is 51.73±7.09mm and the female is 43.22±5.57mm,the safe depth of the male is 38.80±5.32mm and the female is 32.42±4.18mm;The angle which is from the acupuncture point to the inferior border of posterior atlantal arch with the horizontal position is 14.75±2.81°,the dangerous depth from the acupuncture point to the inferior border of posterior atlantal arch of the male is 55.64±7.57mm and the female is 46.44±5.00mm,the safe depth of the male is 41.73±5.68mm and the female is 34.83±3.75mm;The angle which is from the acupuncture point to the superior border of spinous process of axis with the horizontal position is 24.05±5.01°,the dangerous depth from the acupuncture point to the superior border of spinous process of axis of the male is 59.27±7.72mm and the female is 50.44±3.68mm,the safe depth of the male is 44.45±5.79mm and the female is 37.83±2.76mm;2.The results on the axial view:The angle between the left dura and the horizontal position is 13.25±2.40°,the men's dangerous depth is 60.73±6.97mm and the women's is 51.11±6.79mm,the safe depth of the men is 45.55±5.23mm and the women is 38.33±5.09mm;The angle between the right dura and the horizontal position is 13.75±3.09°,the men's dangerous depth is 61.00±7.20mm and the women's is 51.00±6.61mm, the safe depth of the men is 45.75±5.40mm and the women is 38.25±4.96mm; 3.The results of the correlation study:The correlation coefficient which is between the men's dangerous depth of perpendicular needling and the weight is 0.711,p＜0.05,the regression equation is Y＝0.765X+1.72,and the BMI is 0.78,p＜0.01,the regression equation is Y＝5.244X－60.170,and the neck collar is 0.666,p＜0.05,the regression equation is Y＝1.922X－20.797;The correlation coefficient which is between the women's dangerous depth of perpendicular needling and the weight is 0.815,p＜0.05,the regression equation is Y＝1.466X－34.18,and the BMI is 0.868,p＜0.01,the regression equation is Y＝6.058X－76.324,and the neck collar is 0.751,p＜0.05,the regression equation is Y＝3.333X－66.00; Conclusions:1.The dangerous depths between the male and female in the same acupuncture direction are different,the male's is more than the female's on average;2.The safe depths between the male and the female in the same acupuncture direction are different,the male's is more than the female's on average;3.The acupuncture angles between the male and the female in the same needling direction have no difference;4.Both the male's and female's dangerous depth of perpendicular needling have the positive correlation with the weight,BMI and the neck collar,have no correlation with the height and the width of thumb.
