| Objective:By the research,the thesis is going to obtain reference value of McNamara cephalometric analysis of Tianjin adults with normal occlusion and compare the difference of the value of McNamara cephalometric analysis between tianjin and other regins,making the reference for orthodontic diagnoses,treatment plan or prediction of treatment result.Methods:86 people of Han nationality at permanent with normal occlusion dentition were selected from Tianjin area(female:43,male:43,average age:20). Lateral cephalometric radiographs were taken.McNamara analysis was conducted to obtain the reference value of McNamara cephalometric analysis by using Winceph soft ware,and build up the regression equations respectively.The data was input into computer and SPSS 17.0 software was used to do T sample test and relativity test, compare the Tianjin norms with those of other regions,such as Shanghak Harbin, Inner Mongolian and Shijiazhuang.Results:1.The reference value of McNamara cephalometric analysis in Tianjin adults with normal occlusion was established.The comparative results between male and female in Tianjin present the differences with regard to the Nasion perpendicular to point A,the Pogonion to Nasion perpendicular,the effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height,and at those aspect,the male's value is larger than female's.But there is no sexual difference in the upper incisor to point A vertical and the lower incisor to A-Po line;2.Pearson correlation analysis showed that there were positive correlations between effective maxillary length and effective mandibular length,between Nasion perpendicular to point A and Pogonion to Nasion perpendicular and between effective mandibular length and lower anterior facial height.The above mentioned correlations were of significant differences;3.The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the male of Shanghai were larger than those of Tianjin.The lower incisor to A-Po line of the male of Shanghai is smaller than those of Tianjin.The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the female of Shanghai were larger than those of Tianjin;4.The nasion perpendicular to point A,The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the male from Harbin were larger than those from Tianjin.The upper incisor to point A vertical and the lower incisor to A-Po line of the male from Harbin were smaller than those from Tianjin.The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the female from Harbin were larger than those from Tianjin;5.The nasion perpendicular to point A,the pogonion to nasion perpendicular,the upper incisor to point A vertical,The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the male from Inner Mongolian were larger than those from Tianjin.The upper incisor to point A vertical,The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the female from Inner Mongolian were larger than those from Tianjin;6.The nasion perpendicular to point A,the pogonion to nasion perpendicular,The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height of the male from Shijiazhuang were larger than those from Tianjin.The effective maxillary length,the effective mandibular length and the lower anterior facial height from the female from Shijiazhuang were larger than those from Tianjin.Conclusions:1.There is sexual difference in the Mcnamara analysis;2.Build up the reference value of McNamara cephalometric analysis in Tianjin adults with normal occlusion,apply as reference to the clinical therapy;3.Establish the regression equations respectively.Offer more accurate refference to the diagnosis;4.McNamara Analysis pay attention to measure of linear angle distance and more sensitive to sagittal direction changes.By integrating with ANB angle and the WITS to evaluate sagittal plane relations are more valuable. |
