| Diabetic generalized/distal symmetric polyneuropathy(DSPN/DPN) is one of the major and common diabetes complications and its incidence rate is high,the harm is widespread.The pathogenesis of DPN mainly related to large blood vessels and microvascular disease,immune mechanisms,as well as the lack of growth factors.The full development and utilization of traditional Chinese medicine in China's rich resources,a reasonable choice to study medicine,can play a more effective Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of DPN,the advantage is of great realistic significance and social signifieance.Included in this study are patients with DPN of type 2 diabetes.Through the 30 cases Dan Hong injection group before and after treatment with clinical symptom score, vibration perception thresholds and safety indicators analysis,and 30 cases with western medicine treatment group were compared,confirmed Dan Hong injection treatment of DPN effectiveness,and the relative safety of the advantages of Western medicine treatment.Objective:To observe clinical curative effects of Dan Hong injection on DPN and the change of thresholds of vibratory sense.Methods:DPN 60 patients were randomly divided into the control group(30 cases) and the treatment group(30 cases),which were all treated according to China guideline for type 2 diabetes(2007 edition).Meanwhile the treatment group was adopted intravenous injection of Dan Hong injection 20ml dissolved in normal saline 200ml, once a day,the treatment time of the two groups was 15 days.Results:The clinical symptoms and vibration perception thresholds of the treatment group were significantly improved than that of the control group(p＜0.05).And there was no significant adverse reactions.Conclusion:Dan Hong injection is effective and safe in improving clinical symptoms and vibration perception thresholds of DPN.
