ObjectiveTo explore the methods and therapeutic effect of normative rehabilitation of talipes valgus in the children with cerebral palsy; Also the footprint and lateral X-rays in weight loading using in evaluating and its significance of clinic.Method56 children who were cerebral palsy with talipes valgus in the hospital-community-family-based rehabilitation mode were divided into a rehabilitation group (n=28) and a control group (n=28)at random, the feet with talipes valgus of rehabilitation group were treated in normative rehabilitation methods while those in control group used conventional rehabilitation methods. 100 footprints were divided into light, middling and heavy type in turn with two footprint-based approaches. Compare two approaches with chi-square criterion, and analyze the dependability on consequence of the footprint and lateral X-rays in weight loading.ResultsThere was no significance between two groups before investigation(P>0.05), while after six months, it was significant difference in two footprint-based approaches and the space between navicular tubercles measured by the lateral X-rays in weight loading(P<0.05),but not in the space between astragaloid bone or cuboid(P>0.05).Evaluated by the method of three-line or ratio, there were different consequences in the rehabilitation group and control group, but while by the lateral X-rays in weight loading, two groups have the same results. 100 feet evaluated by method of footprint were flatfeet radically but the degree was different with two footprint-based approaches There was a close correlation between two footprint-based approaches and lateral X-rays in weight loading.Conclusion1,Normative rehabilitation was more useful in improving the effect of talipes valgus in the children with cerebral palsy;2,Footprint can be evaluated flatfoot caused by talipes valgus in quiet state;3,The development of bones of foot and the constitution of instep can be surveyed on the lateral X-rays in weight loading.
