Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis By Chuanshentong And Antibiotic

Objective:To observe the clinic effect of Chuanshentong and antibiotic on chronic bacterial prostatitis(CBP). Methods:40 CBP patients were divided averagely into two groups at random, the 20 cases in treatment group were treated by Chuanshentong antibiotic and alpha-1A receptor blockader. the other 20 cases in control group were treated by antibiotic and alpha-1A receptor blockader. After four weeks,the NIH-CPSI scores,EPS bacterial culture,EPS-WBC and EPS-SPL were observed. Results: The patient's NIH-CPSI total score, pain score, EPS-WBC, urinary tract symptom score and quality of life score decreased, EPS-SPL and clearance rate of bacterial improved, However, Chuanshentong group was better than the control group to change the situation..Conclusion:It is an effective way to treat CBP with Chuanshen tong and antibiotic. Chuanshentong has unique advantage in the improvement of the Clinical symptoms and the quality of life for the patients. no obvious adverse events occurred.
