| The installation of air-cleaning devices in central air-conditioning ventilation systems is one of effective methods to control pollution, improve the indoor environment quality and prevent air-borne disease. The purpose of this study is to establish an evaluation method for PM10 removal efficiency of air-cleaning devices in the central air conditioning ventilation systems.In this paper, the wind tunnel was chose to simulate the condition of central air-conditioning ventilation systems. Based on the performance study of wind tunnel, the classification efficiency of air-cleaning devices was measured by generating monodisperse aerosol and the optimal regression equation of classification efficiency was fitted. According to the PM10 mass concentration of typical environment and optimal regression equation of classification efficiency, PM10 removal efficiency of air-cleaning devices in the central air-conditioning ventilation systems was calculated. In addition, the simplified method of experimental process and verification of evaluation method by natural dust was discussed.The major conclusions of this study are as follows:â‘ the condition of central air-conditioning ventilation systems are simulated by wind tunnel.The effect of simulation is evaluated by monodisperse synthetic test dust.â‘¡The classification efficiency of air-cleaning devices was measured.â‘¢The evaluation method for PM10 removal efficiency of air-cleaning devices in the central air conditioning ventilation systems is established.This study provided the experimental data and research foundation for formulation of evaluation standard for removal effect of air-cleaning devices in the central air-conditioning ventilation systems. |
