| Objective:To study the resistant function of HuajiYiganjian(HJYGJ)to ascites he- patic carcinoma, influence to the expression of Fas,Fasl and C-erbB-2, and discuss the possible mechanism of tumor resistanc.Methods:After injecting ascites hepatoma cell line into their right oxter ,48 mices were divided into four groups:normal saline(NS),Huajiyiganjian(Chinese traditional medicine),5-Fu(medicine),Huajiyiganjian and 5-Fu (combine) groups. After 14 days obtaining tumor and accounting the inhibiting rate. Fas,Fasl and C-erbB-2 were examined by using immunohistochemistry straining method in the tumor tissue.Results:1. The experiment of QLYGJ resistance to growth of primary hepatic carcinoma of mice shows:Tumorweight of control group (n=8) is 2.7638±0.7311g, while the tumor weight of QLYGJ group (n=8) is 1.8763±0.7028 g,the resistant rate is 32.11%, itis obviously lower than control group (P<0.05). Tumor weight of 5-Fu group (n=8) is 1.6967±0.5234g, the resistant rate is 38.61%, it is obviously lower than control group(P<0.05). Tumor weight of combine group (n=9) is 1.5082±0.6174g, the resistant rate is 45.43 %, it is obviously lower than control group(P<0.01).2.Expression of Fas,Fasl in H22 cells through immunohistochemistry staining.four groups have positive expression. Rank-sum test show that the expression of Fas in QLYGJ,5-FU,combine group is increased and apparently different from that ofcontrol group (P<0.05,P<0.01), while the comparison between Huajiyiganjian group and5-FU(P<0.05).3.Expressionof C-erbB-2 in H22 cells through immunohistochemistry staining.fourgroups have positive expression. Rank-sum test show that the expression of Fas in QLYGJ,5-FU,combine group is increased and apparently different from that ofcontrol group (P<0.05,P<0.01), while the comparison between Huajiyiganjian group and 5-FU(P>0.05)。Conclusion: 1.HJYGJ,combine groups have apparently inhibiting effects on ascites hepatoma cell line H22,and combine group is higher than HJYGJ grou- p.2.HJYGJ group makes The expression of Fas increased and promoted tumor cell apoptosis; it makes the expression of FasL decreased and promoted immunological cytoactive,thus it hold-backs the development of tumor3. HJYGJ makes the expression of C-erbB-2 is decreased;it inhibits the generation of cancer cell .4.
