| Objective:To analyze the EPCs' number and function of middle-aged diabetes millites (DM )without vasculopathy \DM with vasculopathy (exclude PDR)/DM with and healthy people, and examine the correlation between EPCs and vasculopathy, and investigate the relationships between their clinical features .Methods:The clinical data of 23 male DM patients admitted to the department of endocrinine of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital and 10 male healthy people admitted to the health examination was collected. 10 healthy people were included in healthy control group(HC),10DM without vasculopathy were included in DM1 group and 13 DM with vasculopathy were included in DM2 group. The MTT, Boyden chamber, adhere function, and the CD34/CD133/VEGFR2/vWF of EPCs were analyzed retrospectively. All those features were compared between DM1,DM2 and HC and controls byχ2 test. The P values were corrected according to Bonferroni's method to calculate corrected P values (Pc).Results:(1)The number of EPCs of male DM without vasculopathy of peripheral blood ( 8.83%+6.45 % ) is lower then HC (13.88%+6.07%) , proliferation(0.14+0.039) is lower than HC(0.22+0.024), migration (14.40+3.92) is lower than HC group(21.10+3.64), the difference has statistic significance (P<0.05), the difference of adhereing(13.30+5.01 vs 13.90+4.63) has no statistic difference (P>0.05) .(2)The number, proliferation, migration of EPCs of male DM with vasculopathy of peripheral blood is lower than DM without vasculopathy and HC group( 4.20%+2.86% vs 8.83%+6.45% vs 13.88%+6.07%;0.11+0.042 vs 0.14+0.039 vs 0.22+0.024;10.54+3.31 vs 14.40+3.92 vs 21.10+3.64 ),the difference has statistic significance (P<0.05), the difference of adhereing of the three goups (11.54+5.01 vs 13.30+5.01 vs 13.90+4.63 P>0.05)has no statistic significance. Conclusions:It's matter of the number and function's defect of EPCs of peripheral blood. It's the main factor of vasculopathy and the repair. The study compared the EPCs that of HC ,DM1 and DM2 groups, shows that the development of vasculopathy is correlated with the number and part of the function of EPCs of peripheral blood. |
