| Objective:To evaluate the quality of life (QOL) among pregnancy women infected by hepatitis B; To evaluate the mental health and socal support of pregnancy women infected by hepatitis B; to investigate the related factors of QOL; to provide scientific clues to improve the QOL of pregnancy women, promote the perinatal care.Methods:A descriptive design was used in this study. 674 pregnancy women from 4 hospitals in Chang Sha were investigated by a stratified cluster sampling method during August and October, 2008. Five self-reported questionnaires were used to collect information of subjects' demographic characteristics; the MOS item short from health survey; Self-Rating Anxiety Scale; Self-rating Depression Scale; and social support Rating Scale.Descriptive analysis, ANOVA, t test, correlation analysis, and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis were performed by the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 13.0.Results:1. In the 674 subjects, the number of HBV infected is 75, the screening positive rate of HBV infecting is 11.13%.2. The QOL among pregnancy women infected by HBV was low, all scores are lower than 55 (total score=100). The lower are role limitation due to physical problems ( RP=28.67±37.60 ) and body pain (BP=30.07±20.65). The QOL among pregnancy women infected by HBV is significantly lower than not infected in general health and vitality (P<0.01); significantly lower than normal people at all items (P<0.01).3. There were high rates of anxiety in pregnancy women infected by HBV. The mean score of SAS is 37.67±5.68, obviously higher than native mode(29.78±10.07). The attack rate of anxiety is 26.7%.4. There were high rates of depressing in pregnancy women infected by HBV. The mean score of SDS is 37.67±5.68, higher than native mode(41.88±10.51). the attack rate of low depression is 53.3%, the attack rate of middle depression is 53.3%.5. The scores of subjective support are: total social aupport 42.25±5.95, subjective support 23.73±3.59, objective support 10.83±3.05, exploitability 7.69±1.64. Total social support, subjective support and the exploitability are lower than not infected (P<0.01) .6.The related risk factors include: age, education level, place of residence, category of hepatitis B, course of HBV infecting, morning socking, medical payments, the couple feelings, anxiety, depression, subjective support, objective support are significance (p<0.05), according to the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.Conclusion:1. The quality of life among pregnancy women infected by HBV was low at all items.2. This research showed that age, education level, place of residence, category of hepatitis B,course of HBV infecting, morning socking, medical payments, the couple feelings, anxiety, depression, subjective support, objective support are the main factors which influenced the QOL among pregnancy women infected by HBV. |
