Clinical Application Of Four Surgical Procedures For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Transurethral Electricity

Objective:To study the efficiency and safety of transurethral resection of prostate (TURP),transurethral eletrovapporization resection of prostate(TUVP),transurethral plasma kinetic resection of prostate(TUPKVP) and transurethral plasma kinetic enucleation of prostate(PKEP) different Surgical Procedures for transurethral electriciry resection treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)Materials and Methods:In 120 patients treated by surgery in four of the randomly selected cases comparable in patients with conditions on the operation time,blood transfusion and TURS occuring,the mean bladder irrigating time,catheration time hospital stay time and post-operative complications and efficacy were compared.Results:There wrer no significant difference of periperative facors between the four groups.international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL), maximum urinary flow rate(MFR) and residual urine(PVR) are improved in all group patients after the operation procedures.The incidence of blood transfusion and TURS occuring,the mean bladder irrigating time,catheration time hospital stay time were significant shortor in TUPKVP ang PKEP than TURP ang TUVP.The occurrence of postoperative complications in the short term(one month) urinary incontinence in TURP and PKEP,months after a hemorrhage in TURP and TUVP.Conclusions:The four procedures have similar effents.Although TUPKVP is as effective as TURP for the treatment of symptomatic BPH.In four different surgical procedures,security TUPKVP is a better treatment option for BPH,particularly for the elderly in favor of high-risk surgical patients with BPH.PKEP is more suitable for large velume prostate.
