| Purpose:To observe the therapeutic effects of the therapy of fortifying the spleen, disinhibieing dampnes, clearing heat and moving the blood in treating peptic ulcer bleeding patients with deficiency of the spleen and damp-heat and stagnant blood syndrome, and explore a prioritization scheme of TCM comprehensive therapy to treat this disease.Methods:62 cases coming from the Xiamen Hospital of TCM were selected as the research subjects and divided into two group, the study group and control group randomly. All of them had been diagnosed as peptic ulcer bleeding and belonged to deficiency of the spleen and damp-heat and stagnant blood syndrome in accordance with the diagnostic criterias and TCM dialectical standards,Standards of hemorrhage grading, case standards, observation standards, clinical curative effects standards, according to《Practical Traditional Chinese Medicine Gastroenterology》(2001) and《Chinese medicine clinical research guiding principles》(2002).32 cases were selected as subjects treated by "Self-made prescription"orally,"Yunnan Baiyao"orally,"astragalus injection"and"Yanhuling" intravenously for 7 days.30 cases were selected as contrasts treated by omeprazole and carbenzamine and their periods of treatment were the same. Then, observed the time of hemostasis, the time of fecal occult blood test turned to negative and the change of symptoms before and after the treatment of both group, and analysed these data with statistic method.Results:(1) The total curative effects of the study group were better than that of the control group (P<0.05).(2) The effects of improving clinical TCM symptoms, especially in improving melena, epigastric fullness, hypodynamia and dizziness of study group were better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3) The time of fecal occult blood test turned to negative of the study group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusions: 1.The therapy of fortifying the spleen, disinhibieing dampnes, clearing heat and moving the blood was effective in treating peptic ulcer bleeding patiens which belonged to deficiency of the spleen and damp-heat and stagnant blood syndrome, and was better than the therapy of western medicine which inhibited gastric acid secretion and stopped bleeding merely.2.The therapy of fortifying the spleen, disinhibieing dampnes, clearing heat and moving the blood could improve TCM symptoms of peptic ulcer bleeding patiens which belonged to deficiency of the spleen and damp-heat and stagnant blood syndrome, especially in improving melena, hypodynamia and dizziness.3.The therapy of fortifying the spleen, disinhibieing dampnes, clearing heat and moving the blood could shorten the time of hemostasis of peptic ulcer bleeding patiens which belong to deficiency of the spleen and damp-heat and stagnant blood syndrome.4.There were no obvious side effects discovered in the treatment. |
