| Objective To observe preoperative and postoperative cardiac systolic and diastolic function and Coordination of cardiac contractility changes by Tissue Doppler Imaging in patients treated with transcatheter closure for congenital heart disease(CHD) including atrial septal defect (ASD), ventricular septal defect (VSD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). Evaluation of efficacy in the patients underwent transcatheter closure for congenital heart disease. Methods Congenital heart disease patients underwent the transcatheter closure operation was examined with Tissue Doppler Imagine before operation. At the wall of the left and right ventricular, different sampling points were selected to measure the peak velocity of S2, Em, Am and the times to the point of peak velocity. The stardard deviation of the times to the point of peak velocity of the 12 sampling points were calculated. Then, transcatheter closure operation was carried out. 72 hours After operation , the abovementioned indicators were measured again. All 19 cases inclued, 8 cases of atrial septal defect (ASD), 5 cases of Ventricular septal defect (VSD),and 6 cases of Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA).Routine preoperative examination, blood biochemistry, blood coagulation function, chest X-ray, color Doppler ultrasound and ECG were measured in all patients. Patients with bundle branch block were excluded. Results After transcatheter closure operation ,S2 peak velocity decreased , Em decreased, Em / Am declined, and some patients exist Em / Am inversion. The times to the point of peak velocity of 12 sampling point on ventricular was significantly increased, but the standard deviation of the times to the point of peak velocity declined .Comparing with preoperation, the S2 peak velocity and Em exist statistical difference (P <0.05), Comparing with preperation ,the Tv standard deviation of 12 sampling point on ventricular is significantly reduced.(P < 0.05). Conclusion After transcatheter closure operation ,the cardiac systolic and diastolic function of congenital heart disease decreased, but coordination of myocardial contractility improved. The times to the point of peak velocity in sampling points of left ventricular and it's standard deviation can accurately be used to evaluate coordination of myocardial contractility in Patients with congenital heart disease. |
